Reel Justice Film Conference
Working Films presents a national series, Reel Justice: Film Conferences on Police Brutality & Violence Against Women, supported by a generous grant from the Andrus Family Fund. These events are open to the community.
By "film conference," we do not mean "film festival." Reel Justice will be different from a film festival in a number of ways: focus on the work of social justice organizations who are invested in finding processes to help communities constructively engage and move beyond past conflict; have a "reconciliation and justice" theme that will engage the attendees in contemporary and local efforts to cultivate a process of reconciliation aimed at giving all involved a sense of having received justice; and link efforts between a college campus and its surrounding community, aiming to inspire the opportunity for intergenerational conversations and future collaborations.
