The Working Films Changemaker Award

The Media That Matters Film Festival is the premiere showcase for short films on the most important topics of the day.  Each year Working Films awards $1000 to a filmmaker who has created a short with potential to inspire activism.  This award is funded with generous support from the Ettinger Foundation.

The Full Frame/Working Films  Award

The  Full Frame Documentary Film Festival is an annual international festival in Durham North Carolina that celebrates the power and artistry of documentary film.

From 2005 – 2009, Working Films presented the Full Frame/Working Films Award that honored a film at the Full Frame Documentary Film Festival that has the power and potential to advance social justice by inspiring activism.
